Following a commercial agreement, The Coca-Cola Company and Bacardi Limited announced "Coca-Cola Mixed With Bacardí", a product that combines Bacardi rum with the iconic Coca-Cola soda.
This launch is part of The Coca-Cola Company’s strategy to enter the alcoholic beverage market, adding to the release of Jack and Coke.
"This new collaboration supports our strategic expansion", said James Quincey, CEO of The Coca-Cola Company. Mahesh Madhavan, CEO of Bacardi Limited, added, ‘Through this partnership, we will broaden our reach and accessibility so that even more legal drinking-age consumers can enjoy this classic rum cocktail.’
According to the announcement, this product will initially be available in Mexico and Europe in 2025, with plans to expand to other countries later.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the alcohol content of this beverage is still unclear; some images show 5% and 5.9%, respectively, so it may vary by market.
