For the celebration of the World Cup in Russia in 2018, Coca-Cola launched the Mini Mundialistas in the Mexican market. This promotion consisted of 25 scale aluminum replicas of the Coca-Cola “contour” bottle.
Two more companies were involved in this promotion, since McDonald's and Cinemex had 3 exclusive Mini Mundialistas for sale. For its part, McDonald's had in its possession the special McDonald's mini World Cup and that of Spain, the latter due to its colors.
For its part, Cinemex only had one mini World Cup in its possession, this being the one for the Mexican team.
The other 22 mini World Cups were entirely run by Coca-Cola. These could be obtained by exchanging 2 participating tapas (one green and one gold) + $10 or in packages of 4 mini world cups and 12 cans or 22 mini world cups and 24 cans The designs of these 22 mini World Cup players were: Coca-cola, Russia 2018, Mexico, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Italy, Japan, Belgium, France, England, South Korea, Portugal, Uruguay, Poland, Iceland, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, Panama and Peru.
As a fact, in our video, when we went to McDonald's, the cashier told us that the display in which 24 of the 25 mini world champions were (only the one from Cinemex was missing) was given to the employee of the month, here is an image of this display.
Another curious fact is that in Russia Coca-Cola released a special mini World Cup.
While in the United States there was only one mini World Cup, but this promotion consisted of a matrioshka and the central level was the mini World Cup.
