History of Charles, the Chuck E Cheese´s mouse

According to the Buzzfeed portal, in 2012 the company published on its website a digital copy of a children's book called "The Story of Chuck E. Cheese", where the heartbreaking life of the mouse is narrated.

According to the story told in the book, Charles was an orphaned mouse who grew up in an orphanage called St. Marinara. Even though he never knew his birth date, he loved celebrating other people's birthdays and singing for their anniversary.

When he was old enough he went to New York, where he had no place to live. Alone and sad, he chose to sleep in the entrance of a pizzeria.

“Charles slept over the kitchen in a pizzeria run by an Italian chef named Pasqually. Chuck loved the smell of pizza. In addition, there was a lot of music in the place: Pasqually listened and sang on the radio. It was a great place to live."

However, the chef noticed the presence of the mouse and tried to chase it away… the only thing that saved him was his singing. The man thought Charles had a wonderful voice and gave him a job to sing for the restaurant patrons.

“Pasqually was so surprised that he dropped his rolling pin. 'A mouse that can sing? My restaurant is saved! I'm going to make you a star!"

Although he was afraid to go on stage, everything changed when he saw a boy with a birthday hat, which prompted him to continue, leaving everyone surprised with his talent.

The pizzeria quickly became a well-known place, where families went to have the mouse sing to them on their birthday.

Over time, Charles created his own franchise and never stopped singing.
