XXRay is the name of a line of collectible figures created by artist Jason Freeny and manufactured by the Mighty Jaxx collectibles company.
For its part, Mighty Jaxx is a design studio founded by Jackson Aw based in Singapore and is known for making and selling collectible toys.
Jackson started the company in 2012 with a loan of 20,000 Singapore dollars, but before starting the business, Jackson spent about 1 month in Shenzhen, China, visiting various toy factories.
Later Mighty Jaxx managed to get his first collaboration with Singaporean visual artist CLOGTWO. In that collaboration they designed an original character called "Hell Lotus" and debuted 200 models at the Singapore Comics and Games convention in 2012 and for 2017, the studio won the title of 'Brand of the Year' at the Designer Toy Awards.
Finally, the XXRAY line represents a lot of characters split in half, in which the first part is the character as we know it and the second is it skeleton and organs.
There are some variants depending on the size and they are called “XXRay Plus”, “XXRay Sml” or “Life-Size XXRay”.
