Pétalo and Bimbo joined forces



If you´re not from Mexico, probably you don´t know the Pétalo brand wich form part of Kimberly-Clark.

In Mexico, in October and during the month of November of this year, the Bimbo bread company and Pétalo surprised with an unexpected union. Both brands decided to create special packaging; Bimbo, for its part, included Poppy (Pétalo ad icon) in its Bimbo white bread bags, while Pétalo included the bimbo bear in its packaging as well as napkins with both characters and the phrase "Sandwich made with love".



This fusion seeks to bring families together at a unique moment, like when it's time to eat a sandwich. The softness and resistance of the napkins, together with the nutrition and affection of the bread, provide a touch of affection that complements your demonstrations of love in a fun way.


“At Pétalo, we are excited about this union with Bimbo since we both understand that there are currently many ways to share and since both brands are part of the lives of Mexican families in the most important moments of coexistence at home and outside of it, With this special edition, we seek to complement the demonstrations of affection between loved ones, and what better than Poppy® and Osito® (bear) to transmit it”, mentioned Mara Bonilla, Home Business Leader.


Finally, this union had a promotion that consisted of a challenge called "Wrap your love with more love", in which the participants had to publish a video from October 26 to November 4, 2020, in which, while they had the Blindfolded or covered with a cloth that prevented vision, they had to prepare a sandwich and wrap it with the Pétalo® Napkin edition “Wrap your love with more love”, all this in the shortest possible time. According to the bases of this challenge, the 5 winners would be chosen on November 5 and announced on the 6th of the same month, but on that day Pétalo published an image on their social networks that the decision was complicated and they would be announced until November 9. Finally, that day the 5 winners of the challenge were announced.
